The Wind Ensemble is the 2nd concert band (Non-Varsity) at Connally HS. The goal for this ensemble is to help students gain a deeper understanding of the playing fundamentals and ensemble skills necessary to achieve the high standards set by the T.E.K.S. and U.I.L. Students in this ensemble are required to attend after school rehearsals as we prepare for the U.I.L. evaluations in the Spring semester. Lessons are not required but are highly recommended. The Wind Ensemble meets 2nd/6th period. Each member must:

 

1. Attend all rehearsals, sectionals, clinics, and performances.

2. Perform concert music assigned by the directors.

3. Maintain academic eligibility.

4. Abide by all Connally Band Handbook policies.
