Students are required to audition for band placement before the end of the spring semester. This process allows directors to properly place students into the appropriate ensemble.

Student leadership is a vital part of a successful band program. Student leaders help set the tone for rehearsals, performances, and the overall culture of the ensemble. Leadership within the band gives students valuable opportunities to develop confidence, communication skills, and teamwork—qualities that benefit them far beyond their time in our program. Through their commitment and example, student leaders help create a supportive environment where every member can grow and succeed.
